Interests: Many internet users’ posters speak English as their second or third language. We should always remember that English is one of the hardest languages in the world to learn; it is an order of magnitude less regular and its working vocabulary is far larger than the Romance languages. All rules about spelling, punctuation, pluralisation, etc. are wrong approximately at least 1% or 2% of the time. There are over 30 vowel sounds represented by 5 ½ letters. There is quite simply no logic to the use of prepositions in idiomatic phrases, and idiomatic phrases are all over the language, even in basic tourist / shopkeeper speaking.
It isn't just waiters and store owners who are blatantly rude to non-English speakers, it's both accepted and encouraged in developed countries where the first language is English to ridicule those who don’t convey themselves perfectly. A large number of English speakers would rather simply shrug or tell an outright lie to someone requesting their help than take the time to assist. Discrimination based on the use of imperfect grammar is often used as a substitute to a genuine counterargument to a point made. Rather than being chastised, this ridiculous political debating technique often distracts people from the point being made, proving an easy way for those with nothing to say to appear to take an imaginary “intellectual high-ground”.
Anyway, don't pick at peoples grammar. They're a stranger and you know nothing about them. Plus, given the way education generally works, it's classist as hell.

Anything else?: You remember that time you did that thing and you felt so proud and people kept telling you how well you did and how proud they were of you? If I did that, it would have been so much better. Actually, I might already have done it but I'm so great that I don't even remember because what was monumental to you was just business as usual for me.
I'm great.
