Sol Seppy: EP and tour dates

Who is this Sol Seppy person, eh? Am I behind the times here? Her mini-album-cum-EP thing, pssscheeow, might well have come into the office, but beyond that I know nowt about this lady and her music.
Still, seems that plenty o' people do like her. One such person being Mark Linkous, I guess, as Sol is supporting Sparklehorse this month. Dates as follows...

That funnily-titled mini-album is released through Gronland on November 7.

Get on it Diver
If you like Cortney Tidwell (which you do), you'll find Sol Seppy shares an affinity with her. Touches of Bjork, Mazzy Star etc. Her album is beautiful, look forward to hearing the mini-album.
I think she used to be in, or play live with Sparklehorse, but always get her history mixed up with Joan As Policewoman. I know that Joan sings with Anthony & The Johnsons..-

she played cello and sang with sparklehorse, and i believe these dates are part of a support slot with them(/him).

the album is good
but I like it less and less after each listen...
Too much 'easy' influences...
But she might do something great someday !
