Darla

James, creator of Darla said on their myspace : 'Darla is a label, distributor, & on-line retailer of music. I started Darla Records with my wife-to-be, Chandra, in 1994 as a patron of the arts in order to provide a safe & sane avenue for our label and our friends' labels to get out to the people, to go direct to retailers, and to trade with other distributors around the world. Darla is now home to a fabulously diverse group of fellow independent labels such as 555, Acuarela, American Patchwork, Attack Nine, Audio Dregs Recordings, Candle, Elefant, Fuzzy Box, Houston Party, Labrador, Le Grand Magistery, LTM, Make Mine Music, Pehr, Plop, Red Panda, Siesta, Spekk, Static Discos, Sublight, Track and Field, Upper Class, and many more.
