Up-C Down-C Left-C Right-C ABC + START
Proggy post-rockers with TWO drumkits. Yeah, TWO of them. Are they greedy, or just stupid? Go see and decide for yourself.»
My Luminaries
From Reading via Kingston and Manchester, the core of My Luminaries - vocalist James Ewers and identical twins Dylan and Saul Perryman - trod the musical boards for years, going through many name changes and drummers before they found Sam Stopford and sat down to write spiky, jagged indie-pop riffs. They were snapped up early in 2006 by V2 for a development-style deal.
James looks a bit like that guy from Razorlight, only he's not a twat. To recap, then:
James Ewers - vocals/guitar/keyboard
Dylan Perryman - guitar/keyboard/backing vocals
Saul Perryman - bass/backing vocals
Sam Stopford - drums

Six Nation State
Originally from Southampton, now moved to the London commuter-based hole that is Reading, SixNationState are a five piece that sound quite a lot like a feelgood, non-chav version of The Coral.
Self-titled debut album drops September 2007 through Jeepster.
