Drawing influences from a whole range of remarkably similar post-rock bands, Mogwai have slowly become one of the biggest underground bands of the last ten years. Critically adored, they manage geniunely heart achingly beautiful songs and also have the ability to make ears bleed (often at the same time).

Nick - After being cruely addicted to drugs by his "master",this young chimp was badly neglected and left tied up and tap dancing for four days raising an unprecedented £7.50 (an organ grinding record). Before he broke free and went on a withdrawl fuelled rampage through the streets of Lisbon. Now fully rehabiliated you can adopt him.

Field Music
Field Music are a Sunderland-based trio made up of Andrew Moore and brothers Peter and David Brewis.
The band's sound is tough to pin down: it takes cues from pop and punk, post-punk and art-school-influenced indie. It's tough but instant, catchy but avant garde. It's pop, but not as you've known it before.
»White Rose Movement
White Rose Movement are:
Finn Vine (vocals, guitar)
Jasper Milton (guitar)
Owen Dyke (bass)
Taxxi (keys)
Ed Harper (drums)
Formed in 2002, this five-piece combine the dark glamour of Depeche Mode with The Rapture's knee-jerk beats. Support slots with Pink Grease and Mylo and the production wizardry of Paul Epworth have seen them refine their craft to a cleaner, more euphoric sound. Their debut single, 'Love Is A Number' is out on May 30th 2005; they will support The Kills on their May tour.»
My Latest Novel
My Latest Novel are Chris Deveney (vocals, guitar, bass), Paul McGeachy (vocals, guitar, xylophone), Gary Deveney (vocals, guitar), Laura McFarlane (vocals, violin, piano), Ryan King (drums, percussion).
Having played just a handful of gigs in their native Scotland, My Latest Novel secured a slot at Manchester’s In The City music convention last year. Since then, the band have recorded sessions for XFM, supported Smog, British Sea Power and The Dears, and recently signed a deal with Bella Union records.
'Sister Sneaker Sister Soul' is the bands brilliantly-titled, and indeed rather brilliant, limited edition debut single taken from their forthcoming debut album due for release later this year.
