Trans Am

In the span of five years Trans Am have created a catalog that rivals many of the bands to which they are often referenced -ZZ Top, Rush, Kraftwerk. The ideas, techniques and attitudes with which many of these bands approached making records did have an impact on Trans Am, and with each record Trans Am; sought to create something that was part of a larger picture, albeit with a different lens and focus than the previous one. In doing so, the band have created a sound and style that is truly there own. And yes, their newest record, Red Line is sprawling and epic. It's twenty-one tracks and over seventy minutes of music. It's concept. It's sonic development. It's the record that plays to every nuance the band has exhibited these last five years and it's available as a gatefold LP for audiophiles.
