The Video Nasties

Formed in the middle of 2005, the Video Nasties seem to have more than their fair share of luck.

Starting as a five piece, their debut gig was witnessed by a couple of Les Incompetents, who were so impressed that a string of shows followed. Their self-released demo caught the attentions of Xfm DJ John Kennedy, and its fusion of eighties post-punk with Medium 21-style indie has caught the eye of a couple at DiS too.

Since bassist Josh left the band in April 2006, the Nasties have since aquired a afrotastic bassist named Joe also of Swing Youth. They are to release their debut single 'I Wanna/3 New Ideas' on Wayoutwest records in December 2006:
