The Cooper Temple Clause
Ben Gautrey - vocals
Tom Bellamy - guitar
Dan Fisher - guitar
Kieran Mahon - keyboards
Jon Harper - drums
Didz Hammond - bass - left in 2005
A veritable hurricane of punk, angst and silly haircuts, the Cooper Temple Clause have been trading in a fine line of sort-of-prog, sort-of-metal since the late 1990s. Debut album See This Through And Leave, released in 2002, secured them a dedicated cult following, however it was 2003's Kick Up The Fire And Let The Flames Break Loose, with its top 40 hits Promises Promises and Blind Pilots which made them a verifiable success. Bassist Didz Hammond left the band to join Clash tribute band Dirty Pretty Things in september 2005. The rest of the band now share bass duties, with third album Make This Your Own due early 2007.
