Menomena

Menomena is Danny Seim, Justin Harris, and Brent Knopf. An experimental rock trio, they've released one EP wet an rusting ( sept 2006 ) and two albums on Portland indie label Film Guerrero: i am the fun blame monster ( october 2004 ) and under an hour ( mar 2006 ), which consists of three lengthy instrumental compositions and is the soundtrack to a modern dance performance choreographed by a friend.

Having signed to Barsuk Records, they will releasefriend and foe in early 2007. It's a return to the more pop-influenced stylings of fun blame monster, shining Northwest indie songcraft through a Chicago post-rock lens, illuminating the quiet recesses with an unpredictable, experimental light.
