So, who do we sound like, I hear you cry. Well, that is something that I can never quite explain. Some people have said we sound like The Libertines, although i don't think we do. The singer of the Poet Dogs once told me that we sounded like Half Man Half Biscuit. And someone else called Colin told me that we sound like a mix of The Housemartins and The Pogues. I like the Pogues, but not as much as my brother does. My favourite band is Shed 7 you see.

In our time, we have supported some rather fantastic bands. The Others, The Paddingtons, The Unstrung, Selfish Cunt, Easyworld, The Cherubs, 10,000 Things, The Young Knives, Junkbox.

Ripchord recently won a bbc midlands vote with over 7,000 votes and have recieved generous airplay on Midlands BBC Radio and Radio 2 and the demo 'Terrible Thing' will be played on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show.
