Fighting With Wire

Signed to label: Smalltown America

Fighting With Wire are Derry's hottest new band, formed in June 2003. Cahir O'Doherty (Vocals, Guitar) and Craig McKean (Drums) formerly of the excellent Clearshot recruited fellow Derry musician Kevin Nash (Bass) and made their live debut only hours after finishing their first material. Despite their short history to date, Fighting With Wire have already headlined several gigs in Derry and Belfast as well as being invited to the BBC in Belfast for two sessions, featured on "Across The Line" and Donna Legge's "Session In Northern Ireland" programmes.

The band are currently finishing the recording of their debut album, due out later this year. Cahir is also continuing to record and tour with Jetplane Landing in between his FWW commitments while Kevin is working on his solo material and can be seen playing live here and there.
