Adam Green - Moldy Peaches comedy act extraordinaire, art school wizzkid with a penchant for stage costume and 'shitting in condoms'.
Adam Green focuses on strum-and-hum-along acoustic numbers with the odd splattering of saxophone or suitably lo-fi computer effects that are more ZX Spectrum than Cubase.
It's those dirty, sad stories and the silly rhymes that pull you in. Although, he's not recommended for those unaccustomed to Kimya (Moldy Peaches compradre) and Adam's obsessions - hanging out in guitar shops, comics, fumbling sex and yes, dressing up as Robin Hood/Peter Pan (two of Adam's stage costumes).
For those already hooked on the anti-folk sound, in particular Jeffrey Lewis' tragicomic busking, Adam Green is certainly worth checking out.
