Staind were one of the worst bands ever. Alongside other godawful crud like the equally dismally-named Puddle Of Mudd and Creed, they took power in the early 21st century, selling a shitload of albums to angsty pre-pubescents and middle-American tosspots. Let's face it, the main reason The Strokes became famous was because the alternative was these guys. Dear God! And we think we have it bad now with Rooster?!! Every time you hear that bloody 'Amarillo' song, just think back to 2001 and whisper a prayer of relief that nu-metal is dead. Tom Edwards
