The Apes
The Apes emerged from the wet, heavy jungle of Washington DC in 1999, releasing their debut recording Luv Is Real through Fugazi's Dischord label in summer 2000.
Always an eclectic group – coming from varied musical backgrounds and tastes ranging from '60s and '70s rock, pop and psych to '80s hardcore to Providence noise to reggae to hip-hop.
