Previously known as Sheryl's Magnetic Aura, this Brooklyn four piece feature Jarvis Taverniere of Wooden Wand & the Vanishing Voice, Jeremy Earl founder of Fuck It Tapes and one half of free-folk outfit Woods, Christian DeRoeck the other half of Woods and Justin Bones Wertz.

Meneguar are one of the catchiest, honest, moving, youthful and energetic indie/punk bands to come out of America in years. Often compared to early Modest Mouse, Q and not U and Les Savy Fav their debut mini-album "I Was Born At Night" was released in 2004 on Magic Bullet Records. In the winter of 2005 this debut release was remastered by Nicolas Vernhes (Silver Jews, Fiery Furnaces, Les Savy Fav) and re-released on the awesome Troubleman Records, who've released the likes of Growing, Wolf Eyes, Devendra Banhart, Unwound, Glass Candy etc.

Following a 7-inch release on Troubleman in 2006 comes their much anticipated debut full-length LP this summer, once again released on Troubleman in the USA and Release The Bats in Europe.
