Ooooooooh lovely lovely acronyms - get them right here.The Kids are advised to get down early to the Hope Of The States gigs this month, as the post-everything Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies and the fluffy-haired Komakino will be rotating as the first and second-on bands in support. NICE! (No London show though. Hiss.)

Their second (mini) album, 'Hurrah...' has been mooted for release by Fierce Panda on August 16th.

Is there someone else for those two dates instead then?
Or will it just be someone local...I shan't hold my breath to see who we get in that case (not that there's an exact dearth of suitable choices, just there's even more unsuitable lame ones around here too...).
If indeed they bother with anyone instead at all and the soletary support goes on at 9pm (again, cheers). -

hang on.... you're complaining about no london show.... seriously....? how the hell can you complain, have HOTS not played several of those sodding little shows recently, filthy mcnasty's or places like that, and komakino seem to be supporting in just about every other gig review i read these days from london. so please, don't hit me with that crap.
now if the libertines and HOTS were to extend their grotty pub meanderings up glasgow way, or at least further than reading or wherever that place was that got trashed....
this isn't a "bloody london......bla bla bla" rant, but just don't complain...

ohh yeah, are komakino named after, or is it, a joy division song, or have i dreamt that....?

Ok, just to clarify... Komakino are doing the whole tour, and YMSS are doing all the shows except Portsmouth and London (because I'm going away, and I ain't cancelling my holiday for no man!). -

Is this Ryan of Komakino fame? Sorry bud I've seen the band so many times in Moles but don't know any of the band members' names.
Is the Koma playing either Portsmouth or Oxford,
