Good Lord! DiS 6th placed album of the year 2003ers, FoW have sold out already...
Good news! Virgin Records have confirmed that due to demand, the Fountains of Wayne London show on the 3rd of March at the Mean Fiddler has been upgraded to the Astoria just down the road. Tell all your friends who didn't manage to get tickets to get on the case, quick sharp.
Check back next week for an interview with the guys where they discuss their Grammy Nominations, the finer points of Ali G and er, muffins...

But why not more dates!? Especially in the Midlands - Stoke, Nottingham, Derby or somewhere! Oh well, can't complain at Manchester. :D-

I think this is just a whirlwind European tour, to get the name out properly so they don't have to tour themselves to death and can remind people what a great band they are - rather than coming over, playing 10 dates, 5 of which are rammed, 5 of which are half empty and cost them money to play.
If they were an NME front cover band, it'd all be different, but sadly that isn't the case and they're not Kings of Leon (thank god!)
