The Paper Chase cancel UK tour

Texan horror-core outfit (well whadda you wanna call 'em?) The Paper Chase have cancelled their UK dates for this week.

The band were due to play a series of UK shows, including Oxford tonight (with Jeniferever) and Silver Rocket at London's Buffalo Bar on Friday, but have stayed at home as singer John Congleton is unwell.

DiS presently doesn't know how regional shows will be affected, but the London show on May 19 will now feature the blistering sounds of Todd. Probably. This is 99 per cent on.

The Paper Chase's new album, Now You Are One Of Us, was released in the UK this week and will be available in the US in June. Or is that the other way around? Whatever: that's it, there, that picture. Look, a man hanging. Scary...
