Thursday are fucking shit and if you like them you're a gay.
  • Re: Thursday tour October

sometimes it seems like i need to go on a John Leslie (aledged) rape-spree to convince some people of my sexuality, but for the record i think Thursday can be pretty good, for a bunch of Americans they're not half bad

    ollie.
  • Re: Thursday tour October

i agree, roll on the new american morrisey in wolverhampton!!!
  • Re: Thursday tour October

    Thursgay.
Fukkin suck the fat one... I'd rather listen to the sound of my balls bubbling in a vat of acid. Well, I wouldn't, but it would still be less painful that hearing that knob whine on and on and on, and twirl his mic around his head like a fucking helicopter... dull dull dull dull dull etc.
  • Re: Thursday tour October

i'd like to hear the sound of your balls bubbling in acid. thursday rule!
  • Re: Thursday tour October

You are wrong my friend. Thursday are mediocre, and just happened to be at the right place at the right time when this horrible nu-emo (I believe Kerrap likes to call it post-hardcore... whatever, I know what that's meant to be like, and Thursday ain't it). Don't get me wrong, I don't mind some of their songs, but a lot of other ones are intolerable. Therefore, mediocre. But, each to their own eh? And as for my balls bubbling in acid, I'll put up a link to the mp3 just as soon as I can.
  • Re: Thursday tour October

As head of e-content, any ball boiling MP3's would be my department... add a bit of whining over top and you have the next Radiohead album.
  • Re: Thursday tour October

At last! An outlet for my ball-boiling concerto in c minor.

If someone is compiling some kind of vote on this, then I'm afraid I too cannot stand that Thursday bloke's whiny whiny American whiny whines, whining about whiny stupid whiny things! Gah!
  • Re: Thursday tour October

put me down for one of them there ball boiling mp3s. I have to say, there are more things to a band than the singer, and overall i think that thursday are a great band musically, with some great concepts involved in their music. And the singers voice isnt really that whiny, its more groany, but it works well with the music and actually sounds pretty good.

At least its not another "i wanna be blink 182" american nasal voice, ey?
  • Re: Thursday tour October

you should hear all the shite bands where i live doing their best blink impressions. what a bunch of cunts they are.(and they can never sing in key)
  • Re: Thursday tour October

oh yeah and ill have one of those mp3s for my collection....
  • Re: Thursday tour October

i get blink bands singing IN key. its much much worse.
  • Re: Thursday tour October

Is it worse than 18 thousand bands from Wales and Surrey trying to rip off Thursday and Glassjaw though? At least when kids rip off Blink 182 they're the right age to be doing it - surely to rip off Thursday you've got to be mid to late 20s, have 6 or 7 girlfriends behind you (the makings of an album there...), and sport a rather shiney side-parting. This isn't something the kids should want to do.

When I was a kid I wanted to play music like Jerry Lee Lewis. Man, that shit is dope.
