ATP: Nightmare now in Somerset with Sonic Youth, The Stooges

All Tomorrow's Parties: The Nightmare Before Christmas moves to Somerset, lands Sonic Youth and The Stooges.

The pro-beard sleepover festival deluxe, All Tomorrow's Parties, is moving this year to Butlin's, Minehead, Somerset. I went there once as a child and got chicken pox. At least I shouldn't get shingles later in life though, eh?

Anyhow, there's no official word on 'curators' for this year's festival, but both Sonic Youth and The Stooges have been confirmed as playing.

The event takes place this December, 8th-10th, and tickets go on sale this Friday, April 7th at 9am.

    I went to Butlins in Bognor Regis as a child, just after I had chicken pox. I look pissed off on every single photo. Pissed off and scarred.

        Last year's Nightmare... seemed to have some problems - particularly the trashing of the Gents toilets downstairs. And the general level of trashing around the chalets. What do we think - they'd already booked for ATP this year, but now they're having to find an alternative venue?
        I hope not - I'm going to miss Camber. But it's a worry.

          i noticed on the poster/flyers for the united sounds weekend it said something about being held at the original uk atp venue. which at the time i thought was weird.
          c'mon though, butlins is a higher class of venue than pontin.

          its a bit of a worry i agree so lets all make sure we have a lovely time at camber this may, if you see anyone misbehaving, smack them upside the head, and if anyone decides to drum at fuck off a clock on monday morning then i'm going to hurt you, thats a promise.
