A pair of Pretty Girls shows

Elan Vital Pretty Girls Make Graves

Seattle five-piece Pretty Girls Make Graves have announced a pair of shows to promote their forthcoming third album, Élan Vital (pictured).

The band will swan into London and Manchester on the dates below.

April
3 Manchester University (Academy 2 or 3 we suppose)
4 London 100 Club

Élan Vital is released through Matador on April 10th. Bassist Derek Fudesco revealed to DiS earlier this month that the band had recorded a whole album's worth of material as a four-piece, following the departure of guitarist Nathan Thelen after last album The New Romance, but scrapped it and started again when new member Leona Marrs joined full-time. Having heard the record a good few times now, DiS can report that the move was a wise one.

  • How...

    can one get tickets?
    When are they on sale?

    • no no no

its 'Pretty Girls Make Dates'. Change it!

      • hate to say so...

but the tour is in APRIL, not march.

        • feck

          arse

          • change the title whilst

            you change the dates

          • its too bad

for a second I was pleasantly surprised, taking as i do everything published on this website to be golden nuggets of truth, I thought I might be able to make the shows.
Unfortunate then, that i'm still not in London in April and so I STILL can't see them (same as I missed them almost the excact sime time last year).
            One day...

      • at least you didn't say

Grave Diggers Go On Dates With Models

    • I've just realised...

...that cover makes me want to eat ice cream.

      • makes me want to

      • does anyone else think that...

the new single "the nocturnal house" sound s lot like the yeah yeah yeahs (well maps)? or am I just delirious?
