Download headliners announced

The three-day Download Festival, held between the 9th and 11th of June, will be headlined by Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine and The Prodigy. Well, that's the word on the net, anyway.
The event, held at Donnington park, is expected to feature in the region of 100 bands this year, each of a rock persuasion. Further acts will be confirmed this time next week.
Tickets are available from this Friday, February 3rd, at a price of £110. You've got to pay more for camping and parking, though.

I had a great time at Download last year, other from the weather bad tatoos and stinky aging topless metallers going 'ug' anywyas... but i thought the best bit was watching the smaller bands. That kind of music just feels better in a smaller tent. and Helmet played twice, which was just about the best thing EVER!

i still dont. eurgh....cant stand trivium or b4mv. dont think they will headline though. Inme will probably be there as well. and about 96 more bands i dont really like.

it says these are the first bands to be ANNOUNCED, not that any are headliners.
elsewhere it has been stated that
they are.
