the first one is very different, its a lot more americana and Matt's vocals are more heavily Nick Cave like but calmer.
the second is a lot closer to Alligator, couple of loud songs, its got some blips and nice sounds on it and (IMO) its really, really quite good.
Both have some really, really good songs on. Theory of the Crows off the self titled is amazing.
They're both worth having
They were a brilliant band right from the start.
