hmmm

every game on the dreamcast was perfect and I can't actually think of one for PS1...seems I remember every game being excellent back then...

Including Spyro the Dragon.

Now THERE'S a franchise.

Nightmare Creatures was horrifically violent for a nine year old. As was Resident Evil.

resident evil 1 and 2 were amazing tho!

spyro and mario 64----awful!

^ totes

I remember when Resident Evil 2 was £60 - very scary violent game when you're young

Yeah and the fact it was 2 disks!

was incredible, ole leon s kennedy!

Fucking MDK

I got so stuck on that game, and it was pretty shit which added my to fury!

MDK

FREAKS ME OUT! What a bizarre game!

MDK was before its time

and beyond your feeble capacity. A truly brilliant game and innovative/inventive to boot.

Sorry, that was mean

I just love that game.

MDK

was fantastic fun

I m not really

a huge computer games person, but i know the dreamcast was pretty cool

Never really liked the dreamcast

the controller was like a house, and the games were very N64!

now metal gear solid 1!

thats a game!

Very N64?

Again, some of the best games ever? You seem to be part of the group that follow the Playstation through and through

Ah the "casual" gamer

(I miss being able to be elitist about games)

Jet Set Radio

on the dreamcast was ace!!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

SHENMUE - FUCKING SPECTACULAR!!!!!!! Why can't games be good thesedays, like they were back then?

I am playing Mass Effect on the Xbox360

and all I can think of is that Shenmue was doing this 8 years previously...

COME ON SEGA SHENMUE III PUHLEASE

Mass Effect is currently on heavy rotation within my

selective gaming roster too.

My Xbox tends to crash repeatedly before it reluctantly accepts to play the disk though.

Videogaiden

tried getting a campaign together a while back. Its such a shame that we're probably not going to get the third part.I'd even take Shenmue Online, but that looks like its in the can too.

Any Dreamcast game?

Dear me, that is just plain wrong. The Dreamcast had some of the most amamzing titles ever created. Off the top of my head... Soul Calibur, Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Powerstone, Skies of Arcadia...

But you knew that right?

I'd say Felony 11/79 which was dreadful. Or Superman 64, truly horendous.

wow

that would be my list of dreamcast games...we should probably just get married.....skies of arcadia was ace.

Married it is then.

Lucky for you I have all the above and 4 controllers. And a fewother good games, like Virtua Tennis and MSR.

i could drive to yours

in like 2 and a half hours at this time.......wee bit tempting

:D

We should meet halfway

at dundee and have a "dreamy" weekend

I loved MDK

"The ending is a monochrome mix of a French pop music video and clips from MDK for no discernible reason."

DREAMCAST

BEST CONSOLE EVER

I had a friend down the road

(the type that deemed himself superior thanks to an excess of dispensable income) that tried to tell me in a smug fashion that his Dreamcast's graphics were far superior to the PlayStation 2's approximately four months prior to its release in the European market.

Turns out the PS2 was technically advanced beyond the Dreamcast's and me theoretically rubbing his face in shit when he silently accepted his entertainment downfall.

lol

What the "emotion engine"!? The PS2 that was supposed to be so powerful that it wasnt going to be sold to the Iraqis because it was effectively a super-computer?! The PS2s textures were, in the main, boring and bland and most games didnt look like Ico or Metal Gear Solid 3. Most of the games on the DC on the other hand were vibrant and colourful, and were prettier in general.

The PS2 did have better equipment, but Sega sucked theirs dry and got some stunning stuff visually out of their weaker hardware. And the level of detail in Shenmue puts most PS2 games to shame.

Felony 11/79, on the Playstation?

With the surf guitar music and the destructible environments? Fantastic game! Limited in scope but smashing good fun!

Un Jammer Lammy was amazing!

Does anyone remember this song?

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=EtCL5pgevEM

TUNE!!

I HAVE THAT GAME

AND I THINK IT'S BETTER THAN PARAPA THE RAPPA WHICH IS ALSO EXCELLENT

ME TOO!!

Fuck guitar hero, this is where it is at!

I had a demo of this

and failed as much as you could possibly fail playing it.

I couldn't figure out what was going on, what the point of the game was and why i seemingly failed my objective every three seconds. Kick! Punch! I completely missed that bandwagon.

Onion man kept on telling me off as well which was annoying.

AMAZING!

hahaha onion man!

blast from el past, if i wasnt stoned id be freaked out!

Great lyrics!

Do you like munchies?
I wonder when lunch is?

:D

I need to buy this

and fast.

I HAVE GITAROO MAN

YOU MUST BUY IT. It's up there in my top 5 games of all time - 10/10

I've just found a demo of this

and my fingers are bleeding just from playing level 2 repeatedly. Utterly amazing stuff.

I liked Fade to Black

but it's dated terribly

There is only one answer

And that is Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Rigs

There are videos of it on youtube. There's a fighting game from the same company on there too that looks incredible.

...

It would have to be Superman 64, or maybe WCW Thunder. But before the PS1, probably Rise of the Robots. One playable character for a fighting game ?!

Thats not mentioning

Brian Mays soundtrack

Superman 64!

I miss Lex Luthor's "Solve My Maze!"

Haha

I dont know how it managed it get released
