i have a number of aston villa mugs i appreciate
however my favourite mug is the one that has a ceramic labrador's head actually sticking out of one side, with the body of the dog painted down the side of the mug. it's fucking horrible but it holds just the right amount of tea/coffee

I like 'dad' mugs: those oversized mugs, previously used as convenient liquid/object containers for various household chores (unblocking toilets, digging emergency graves for dead pets etc).
They always seem to have paint at the bottom too.

When I was 6, everyone in my family got a mug with our name on it and a picture above the name. I was adamant my one had a horse on it. The mug makes it looks like as if I am a horse. Everybody else's mug broke, my one still stands as a testement to me being a horse.
