So I've now done three Trucks and always get swept up to an extent in its atmosphere and, well, greatness. However I've been thinking about a change for next year and early birds for Latitude 2009, which is again on the same weekend, are already out. What would you go for?

blimey

you're keen simon, i can't even think that far ahead!

it's shit that they've now nicked the same weekend again though, maybe truck will move... doubtful though i guess.

personally truck's just about the ideal size for me, i hate big crowd festivals.

Heh

Only because I saw the Latitude early bird news earlier on. Truck is that weekend because it's Robin's birthday, isn't it? I assumed Latitude moved forward because T In The Park did - they must have known what was also that weekend.

whats the latitude early bird news?

that you can buy next years tickets at this years price?

This

'Early bird' tickets for the fourth Latitude Festival which takes place at Henham Park Estate, Suffolk have gone on sale at last year's prices. The event is confirmed as taking place from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th July 2009, with the festival opening it's gates on Thursday 16th July for some limited non-musical entertainment.

'Early bird' weekend tickets are on sale priced at £130. Lockers are available for £14.50 with built in mobile charging facilities using car cigarette lighter fittings. To buy tickets, click here.

early bird my arse

cheers for the info!

well

you don't have to rush onto early-birds for either festival, getting tickets later are easy.

but i'd go for latitude given your track history. i'm thinking similar but i've only been to one truck (didn't hate it just want to taste all the fruits).

I was massively impressed by Latitude.

I thought the atmosphere was great If you've never been I'd recommend it.

Truck

will be on 25th & 26th July 2009 so that's your dilemna sorted Simon!

Truck having to move it's usual weekend to accommodate the newer but bigger festivals, what next? it's a dog eat dog world...

Is it?

That's the same weekend as Indietracks, then. The fourth weekend of July 2009 - make my mind up for me.

ah feck it

there are just too many festivals!
