fucking amazing.

they're probably one of the only 'heavy' bands these days that i listen to regularly and take seriously.
a very progressive and interesting band. and alot of fun too.
new erections and plague soundscapes are pretty much some of the best hardcore/grind/whatever albums ever.

fuck yeah !!

seeing them live is one of the things you must do before you die

when they supported the Yeah Yeah Yeahs

they were booed and heckled big time, so they turned their 2 min tunes into a 10 min dirge

Someone told me that the

Yeah Yeahs fans were heckling them, so the drummer puked into a pint glass and chucked it over the crowd. I'd like to have seen that.

yea i saw them support

yeah yeah yeahs in manchester, they played loadsa short stuff but then after all the heckles and boos they announced their last song, lots of people cheered, then they went into a loooooong version of one of their songs to finish people off haha

Half Eaten Sausage

are they any good? why ask??? go buy a record...go see them live. cant you make your own opinion!!! :P

and the answer to your thing is YES.

Safety First Body Second is one hell of a release.

Plague Soundscapes too.

Live...you will fry your mind.

because I don't have much money

and I wanted a concensus beforehand? If I went around buying an album from every band I'm curious about I'd be fucking broke!

also...

p.s - i got to see them back in 2002 with Orthrelm with about 15 people watching and I wanted to shit out some joy.

ive never

liked them, i listen to a fuck of a lot of grind/core stuff and they just leave me cold. There's a certain smugness about it all.

They're no DxA admittedly

and I prefer Justin Pearson's other projects like Swing Kids. Still, Plague Soundscapes is a fun album and I'm looking forward to seeing them at ATP.

I want Head Wound City to do a proper album.

Radical Friends is amazing.

This too.

I love them.

Can't wait to see them at ATP. Gonna rawk.

Absolute

gash, I'm afraid.

I downloaded an album

you're wrong!

You just

admitted to stealing an album and I'm the one who's wrong! You, sir, should be ashamed.

I've liked what 've heard

but i'm not sure how i'd cope with a whole album/live set. I bet live they'd be pretty fun, but an album? hm, i'm not sure.

Head Wound City are awesome though, that's for sure.

Head Wound City

are tainted by the Blood Brothers association for me- not really a band I have time for.

(BB, that is)

--

but Blood Brothers

are awesome

yep

Never got the fuss about them

There's just loads of bands doing that type of music better (The Locust being one). Blood Brothers sound sloppy and boring to me.

the locust sound

nowt like them :/

The locust don't really sound like them at all

They're much noisier than BB. I guess if you don't like them fair enough, i really do. Plus their lyrics are amazing :)

the only bands i can think of that sounds like Blood Brothers are bands that have members of blood brothers in :D (neon blonde, HWC, jaguar love etc)

test icicles

are pretty influenced by them, eh?

Head Wound City do not sound like Blood Brothers

I don't think. They're far less melodic. They remind me of power violence stuff- Spazz, Siege etc.

Yeah.

If you put more guitar on Highways of Gold it could nearly be BB though

Ah, sorry

They do sound like a shite Blood Brothers.

They're a lot worse, for sure

but that track is pretty good. Can you still pick up physical copies of the HWC ep anywhere?

the locust

are really dull

...and you can't post in the right place

Is it really that hard? Or am I just a massive genius?

you obviously have no ears.

The Blood Brothers are/were one of the most talented bands I've heard.

Yep.

I saw them last year at the Underworld and they great, they even played the whole of the Safety Second, Body Last ep as well.

You should also check out Holy Molar, which is another Justin Pearson band. They sound similar to the locust, but more spazzy, with more keyboards and samples and stuff.

the best

bit JP thing is Some Girls
