for like 3 days. Where/what would people suggest to go/do/see? I'm obviously going to do all the usual stuff but what extraordinary things would people suggest, because I don't really know all that much about Berlin. Am I right in thinking there's a Guggenheim museum there?

Don't stay around the central regions the whole time like i did.
I hated the place.
Given everyone else pops a boner for it, i suspect i missed out on the 'in' places
There's a Guggenheim gallery
on Unter Den Linden but it's not that big (not that expensive either).
There's loads of cool things to do in the slightly outlying areas like Prenzlauer Berg but if you're only there for 3 days it may not be worth your while exploring them as it'll take up quite a lot of time.
Go to the Jewish Museum, that was really good.
dont bother too much with Mitte, the main centre
hang out in and explore Freidrichshein (spelling!!!) and Kreuzberg. stay EAST!
