what a total letdown after san andreas. There must be 3 or 4 good songs on the whole damn thing, and theyre not worth trawling through the rest of it just to get to. Such a disappointment

nope, it does exactly what it says on the tin

in that its about gta4's radio being shit

that's grand theft auto, isn't it?

i am beginning to understand

yeah it is

the good tracks

are spread among a heap of shit

but the news/talk channels continue to be amazing

a real stinking fetid hunk of nutty shit, yes

i just wish they'd kept the rock and the hiphop good. cos SA was truly ace in that respect, in fact they all were til now, altho vice letdown a bit too.

Having a laugh, aren't you?

Ok, some of the stations are terrible (Liberty Rock springs to mind), but they are outnumbered by incredible stations by far. I love the music in GTA4 and the way the game tailors the output of certain stations depending on the atmosphere the game is trying to create at a given point.

Electro Choc, Radio Broker, The Journey, Fusion, Jazz Nation, that disco station, all brilliant (Electro Choc and the Journey in particular).

Saying there's only "three or four good songs on the whole damn thing" = FAIL.

^

The Beat has some good Hip Hop, Electro Choc has introduced me to electro properly, Radio Broker is pretty much the perfect radio station, The Jounrey is... I don't know what it is, but driving at night is incredible with it.

Infact, the thread starter is talking such bullshit, that I call shenanigans. SHENANIGANS!

It is the best soundtrack in a computer game period.

Also, the guest DJ who present said stations: Francois K being cool, Juliette Lewis being cynical and sarcastic, Femi Kuti being... uh, Fela's son? IGGY POP BEING IGGY POP! Just adds to the immersive nature of the world.

Na, I like it.

Although "LIBERTY CITY HARDCORE!!!!" is wank apart from the Sick Of It All song and the actual jingle.

I wish though you could play your own music, I feel they missed a trick there not allowing you to have an mp3 radio.

whereas

Radio 4: GTA would be sodding awesome.

well i didnt want a jazz station, electro or whatever the fuck else there is

talk radio is ace, yes, and edverts are good. but the song choices are terrible. doesnt matter if the djs are cool if they play shit
