Quite disappointing live...

where did you see them?

2GTrees? I've always enjoyed them more live than on record but that may just be me.

yep

elvis was good, but i just found they didn't get involved at all and it all seemed a bit dodgy.

your favourite band of the weekend?

not sure really.

enjoyed more on Friday i think, Old School Tie's jam set due to lack of power. Ghost Of A Thousand playing to about 25 people whilst flooding the stage and getting covered in mud and Johnny Foreigner were good, gutted I missed Tubelord.

tubelord

were excellent and joseph was really nice afterwards. yeah johnny f were pretty great, the little joke in the end was funny. the djs were brilliant too. wahey! any clue on whether there's one on next year?

i hope so

things seemed to run fairly smoothly bar the lack of time that seems to happen at most smaller fests'

true

i felt this was the first time i would have gladly spent a few weeks at a festival.

add Truck to that list

and i think i'll be adding Benicassim to that list next week.
Reuben pullig out though *sigh*

there will almost definitely

be one next year. it's sold out two years in a row now. did some work there and had a great time. tubelord really were ace, as was little lost david in the lounge tent on saturday night.

They're a classic example of a dry band...

...who say that they're influenced by things like dubstep, grime, architecture, misery, acid-house and Proust, but basically sound like a generic post-punk band whose actual influences clearly don't extend far beyond The Rapture and Joy Division.

Please also see Foals for more evidence of this.

seen 'em 5 times now

Kind of hit and miss.
But last time I saw them at Digital during Great Escape they were unbelievable, the atmosphere they created in the place was unreal.

Although they're my favourite band so i'm slightly bias.......

fair game

they seem to suit small venues more than a massive field...

Saw them once

Didn't really do anything for me.
I don't like the album much either.
