Is this film suitable to watch with parents (the pretty close-minded type)?

nope.

'rated r for disturbing sexual content involving children'.

No thats

Happiness.

(the film)

I should add.

i tried to get the 'parental warnings' from imdb.

that's all there was.
but there's like a pervert and children 'experimenting' with sex.

yeah

the back and forth for ever things a bit...odd. it's a lovely film though, you should watch it sans familie at some point.

^this

yeah..

like a lot of films, you have to forget your adult self, and watch it through the eyes of a child, like, try to see what the kid is doing in innocent terms, as well as being aware of the dangerous connotations. Like with Tideland. Has anyone seen that film? omgamazing

Probably not

It's a very good film though. I love the bit where Anyway That You Want Me plays.

Nah, there's a scene where two girls take turns giving some guy a blowjob when he's blindfolded to see who's best at it.

i was watching the film

and at the bit described above he walked in the room and started watching it with me, he was not impressed.

Well I watched it on my own

Its a good film. Quite impressive for Miranda's first. Really liked the soundtrack.

Cheers for the tip off people. Definately not one to watch with the parents. Would have been a couple of uncomfortable scenes.
