It's my turn for a cheeky Jag.
My band Part Rocket's new album, In Limine, is finally finished after almost a year of toiling. You can download it free from www.partrocket.com.
It's big, instrumental rock business and we hope you like it.

Part Rocket are fantastic
I shall go and get this right now.
thanks dude - let us know what you think
Well, this is based on one listen...
I quite like it, there's some good chunky riffs in there, it's very atmospheric. It reminds me a little of Do Make Say Think in terms of the dynamics and the overall sound.
My only criticism would be the guitar on the last track - the one that's panned hard to one side... It really starts to drill into yr skull after a while... Maybe just pan it around a bit every now and then for added interest?
Still, I shall be listening to it again as I enjoyed it :)
aww, thanks!
another chap said DMST but I haven't heard any of their stuff... can you recommend an album?
& Yet & Yet
is a particularly good album... I think you'll get a lot from that... :)
Trepanning guitars are
a par for the course!
I heard
that these guys are really good. *cough*
can someone tell me
where the word 'jag' comes from? it must be the nerd within but it's driving me insane
It was just the name of a band that promoted themsleves on DiS
and ended by signing off with their names. For some reason it stuck...
Jag's made it to Wikipedia!
"A popular term given to attempts to gain publicity for a musical performance via the internet". Brilliant.
