I'm thinking I'm setting myself up for disappointment hoping for lots of songs from 604 and Turn on the bright lights!
Interpol, objectively worse than they used to be surely?
Still, anyone else be there on wednesday at sheffield?

Yes, I will be there
as I could not make the Manchester gig.
I saw Interpol last year in Blackpool for the first time and I really enjoyed the gig, far more than I imagined.
This time I'm not sure what I'm expecting.
This was 'No I in Threesome' and 'Evil' from last time:

i went to blackpool too
and i echo the sentiments that they were surprisingly good
played a healthy number of TOTBL songs as well, so i don't think you'll be too disappointed by them at least
that's quite quick..
as I saw them in Baltimore, MD just last week. I suppose it might have been a short US tour...
I'd recommend going..they played at least a few songs from 604: Playgirl, obv, but also Mu-Tron and maybe something else...don't recall. Seventeen was there, as was Destroy Everything you Touch (set closer). International Dateline is much more enjoyable live than on record.
It was a good night overall :) Helen has become quite the looker!
...
Also, there was surprisingly a limited amount of material from their new album., which is almost always a good thing.
Me
in Manchester
Really hope they do plenty of TOTBL tracks
