A question about mobile phone contracts

I always used to use pay as you go, but recently got the Virgin Liberty Sim thing - £15/month, 300 texts, 300 mins...
However, I've used 'em all way before the end of my month, so am thinking of getting a contract instead... I'm not bothered about getting a phone, am quite happy with my shitty old Nokia thing, so am just looking for summat with a few more free texts/mins for less money - any suggestions? I have no idea where to start... Tanx x

  • You'll do well to get a contract for less than £15 a month

It's barely worth the companies worth. However, at the £15 bracket, T-Mobile's solo deal will do you 350 minutes and 750 texts a month. At a quick look, none of the rest of the big five'll match or beat that.

    • In that case, maybe I'll just

Upgrade to the £20/month Virgin thing, is more texts/mins I do so believe... Tanx x

    • Think I misread this first time round

Maybe I'll switch to the T-Mobile deal then, sounds pretty stonking. Are they a decent operator in general? Tanx x

  • That's a fuck load of minutes to get through in a month.

And texts too, for that matter. Wow.

£25 tariffs on O2 give you a lot more I think but you'll get the phone for free anyway.

You should get a Sony-Ericsson phone. They piss on Nokia from a great, great height.

    • they sure do

I have one with a fantastic camera which is better than my digital one.

I'm on '3' and get 2500 texts and 800minutes a month for £20. Although I got this deal by threataning to cancel my contract ran out before.

    • I cares not for phones, but thanks :)

I used to be lucky to get through a tenner a month PAYG, but since I moved to London I seem to have become a real text demon...
