indie/alternative/singer,songwriter/pop/rock
that sort of thing
nothing heavy or too poppy
hip-hop wud have to be good.

I think it means

Hip hop is not their 'bread and butter' material for the label. Horses for courses and all that. It's like Warp do electronica but put out the Born Ruffians album even though it was indie because they liked it and knew it was good.

Are you the guys from London who were signed to Riverman (Placebo's management) and had an album recorded that was never released? I auditioned for you on Guitar in 2002. You liked my SG.....looking at the pics you look younger I guess it cant be the same....they were more metally.
