SCANNERS + FANGS + THE ELECTRiC CITY

Taking place on the first Thursday of every month from July, the dark, dingy and achingly cool Once Bitten... is the latest night from Check Out Gigs, following in the footsteps of the phenomenally successful Club COG.

SCANNERS - described by NME as 'like all the songs Kim Gordon sings in Sonic Youth, but played by Motorhead at their early-'80s peak,' come to the top of the bill fresh from the Rock Ness festival, where they will be strutting their stuff alongside Fatboy Slim, Soulwax and Razorlight.

FANGS - Glasgow favourites F.A.N.G.S, whose Once Bitten... appearance is their last gig south of Hadrian's Wall this summer, and falls just nine days before their much-anticipated appearance at T in the Park.

THE ELECTRIC CITY - Acclaimed local band The Electric City, who have shared stages with the likes of The Who and The Futureheads, complete the bill.
