came to read my meter and the whole time told me about 9/11 conspiracies. He blamed it on the roman catholic church for some reason I wasn't convinced, it was very serreal.

People who think America did it are muppets. At a push they might've turned a blind eye to threats from the East, but even that's pretty far-fetched. I'd rather spend an hour with a terrorist than a consiparcy theorist.

like that osama was locked up in some prison camp somewhere, occasionally allowed to make a promo video to support the US cause, and conveniently never being available for questioning or trial, since he was already captured.

in the months after i was so sure of it that i started to pay great attention to all the investigations going on, and sadly i came to believe the US govt. the evidence is just too strong to disbelieve.

i do however agree that they knew about the attacks and efforts were possibly made to allow/aid the terrorists in the plot, but not enough to constitute it being classed as an inside job.

but I think that was more hiding how inept they had been at guaging the threat than them actually orchestrating anything like the usual nutters suggest. Its amazing how if you take most major events in modern history there are quite convincing holes that can be picked in the official stories. Thats due to the fact that real life is messy, and loose ends can't really be tied up in everything. I remember there being a video that showed something that looked like a missile being fired from one of the planes just before it hit the tower, and depending on what you want to see it could be quite convincing.
The wreckage of the plane that crashed on the way to Camp David was very odd though, apparently if a plane of that size had hit the ground then there would have been a much larger impact.

What the right-minded people said was spot on. They want to believe that something so horrific and on such a huge scale couldn't be done by a bunch of lunatic cockroaches.
