I am listening to tracks on their myspace and they're really good. Why do I never hear them mentioned around these parts? They sound reasonably 'DiS'.

Strangely enough I saw them on Friday at Koko in Camden

They were quite a good live band. The songs seemed like good rock songs although they were a little samey.

They were certainly better than White Denim, who were headlining.

I saw them a year ago

in Meze Lounge, Newport. They were mental live. Really good. From New Zealand right?

I got their album a while back

Still not sure why because I had never heard of them at that point. Think I listened to the album three times, got bored about halfway through the last time.

They are mentioned from time to time

Yes, they're good. Sadly I coudn't find their new album yet...

Yep

They're from NZ, there's rumours they are going to support Brian Jonestown Massacre when they tour here in August/September.

ashtray ashtray

is all you need

i heard rumours

they were doing something on the too pure singles club... not sure if that's confirmed tho?

They're one of my favourite bands

we've played with them a couple of times and they're really entertaining live. First album is self titled and is a pretty frantic, punky affair. I think most of the songs on their myspace are off the second album called promises promises which is a good album, just a little more laid back in places.
They're playing Offset if anyone's going. I'd definitely recommend checking them out.

My band supported them at The Brixton Windmill.

They're great live.

I

just got into this band recently. Very good new album, quite dated at times but still great. It sounds like a Trail of Dead record with 'tunes'.

I don't think the band has a label in the UK to put out the new record. and the too pure singles club thing is no more.

excuse me OIB but

the singles club is definitely still more. tho too pure was effectively closed down the lovely people there are still running the singles club at least till the end of this year's membership and maybe beyond hurrah! thank fuck.

well that's

good news for anyone that subscribed.

If I had the money

I'd put their record out. But I don't. So that's the end of that particular hop of fancy.
