Nick Cave Night BBC4

Next Friday BBC4 are having a Nick Cave night. They're showing a BBC session with the Bad Seeds, a show from 1999 with John Cale and Chrissie Hynde and a compilation of his Later appearances.

A career overview or decent interview would have been good, but can't really complain too much I guess.

was just about to bump this too. setting it to record now. sweet

Oh yes yes indeed

THANK YOU

Eviction

yeah but its BB eviction night, maybe sky+ it then

^Troubling

They stacked Red Right Hand, but apart from that, great show so far!

"There's so many fucking songs!"

What a bunch of hateful cunting fucking cuntends.

They're fucking ruining this for me. O for the days of the Birthday Party when he'd be kicking them in the face and trying to strangle them with his mic lead.

I couldn't agree more

who the hell are they???
A bunch of BBC Execs I reckon - paid to be there. Some absolute twats amongst them definitly.

god is in the house

completely lovely.

also - warren ellis ftw y/y?

Y

fuck, i wanna hug warren ellis. what a brilliant man.

what do you think of the beard?

i think i preferred him pre-beard.

he looks like some kind of biblical prophet junkie hobo now.

which i guess IS pretty cool...

Mercy seat

I fucking love this song.... good set!

That Was Weird...

Strange indeed. A polite standing ovation at the end... and 99% of the audience didn't even seem to recognise the songs. NHas Nick Cave become the new Elton John or something?

Much as I like John Cale...

This could do with more Nick. An odd choice for Nick Cave night.
I've always had an irrational dislike of Chrissie Hynde.

She seems oddly matched

with Cale and Cave

He's dancing!

YES!
When he does the 'feed the chickens dance';absolute victory.

i've been torn between this

and nirvana unplugged on TMF...spoilt for choice really!

Feck it

I am buying an electric mandolin and Rawkin the baws off it! Noize!

why does this have to be on the 1 night i go out this week??

Anyone know if it will be repeated at some point?

it'll be on

iplayer will it not?

ah yes

Good call!
