i smell another festival cancellation...
"Renaissance"
are that 'company' from the Apprentice right? No surprise those turkeys screwed up again.
I bet it was them
I reckon they probably hired Sian Lloyd to help them in their quest
vince power
mean fiddler n shit
No wonder they got such bookings,
They work with prince or pauper.
Unable to obtain staging and sound!
Fairly important for a festival!
WHAT A FUCKING JOKE.
The reason I paid £60 for this was solely to see Bjork. I would have gone to see her in London otherwise. This is such a disappointment.
Shit.
Arse!
Sorry.
I'm just quite annoyed about this
Well if the event does go ahead,
they'll need to get a new headliner in, there's no one else on the line up who can make the step up adequatley.
Only the services
of Andrew WK would soothe me of the anger that covers my soul right now.
How do you not obtain staging for Bjork?
probab;y
some weird stuff bjork wanted which they couldn't get.
Her stage show is quite complex.
Surely
They should be selling tickets at cit price now?!
^this
I may go if it's cheaper
I don't think so
I think the organiser said something about the event not being about one act or something like that. Bit of a cop out really, so many people bought tickets on the basis that Bjork is playing. I would't have spent £60 on a ticket otherwise.
so annoying
it's gone from a really good value event to me looking for a refund I think. I can Bjork being another one of those people i never get to see. She'll probably die in some free tibet rally now, the selfish bint
is this still going on?
the lack of staging and sound does worry me slightly...
bit miffed about björk but at least there's a M-nus tent. awesome.
hmmm...
according to the wild in the country website...
"There have been what we believed to be still ongoing discussions regarding Bjork's production requirements.
We are obviously disappointed, having the utmost respect for Bjork as an artiste, and extend our best wishes to her.
Contrary to what has been suggested, we have diligently provided all production requirements for all of the other acts appearing on this years line-up."
the plot thickens...
