My mum has just finished shouting at me for crunching my crisps too loudly. :(

Do you eat loudly or are you one of those people that finds it incredibly irritating?

I'm one of those people

who finds it very very hard to understand how people can complain about the volume that people eat at.

my sister says i eat really loudly

but i can't tell. i always thought i ate at an average volume

i don't find it irritating in the slightest tho. i don't get why everyone gets so bothered about it.

The latter

My wife has a friend down this weekend, the noise she makes when she eats is indescribable. I'm taking my dinner to the shed with me tonight

Next time

pop some fizz wizz in your gob with the crisps...she'll have something to complain about then.

i sometimes much crisps loudly

theres no real technique to silence the crunch

...

if there issuse with sound is such a irratation to them i suggest inserting a sgarp object into there ears or perhaps weaker just wearing ear plugs.

i am in angry mood and i hate your mother.

nah i dont but still

I CANNOT stand people ating crisps slowly

And they make that crunching sound that's really prolonged. Argh, it does my head in.

NOM NOM NOM

My pet peave

OH MY FUCKING GOD

loudly ftw

i think it's really rude to have a go at people about the way they eat, we are feeding our bodies, energising ourselves - all ways of eating should be celebrated

shut up you gourging

warthog

So close

You managed to post something that wasn't completely spazzified

then said "celebrated"

if i can hear people eat

i want to vomit

Like masturbation,

eating should be done in private.

Restaurants are the public orgies of the eating community, and don't get me started on family dinners.

Is your favourite scene in Friends

the one where they take Rachael's trifle to different rooms in the apartment? All your Christmases must have come at once when they filmed that.

:D

only my Dad

it's as if he is imitating someone eating when he eats his dinner. It's worse when he is home late and has to eat his dinner after us and you can only hear him chomping away. If only we didn't live in a single-end :(

i don't complain though

i don't want to hurt his feelings. I just can't read when he's chewing with his mouth open.

WHY DO PEOPLE EAT

WITH THEIR MOUTH OPEN? WHY THOUGH? NO REALLY, WHY?

The latter.

It drives me fucking crazy. Why can't people just close their mouths whilst chewing? Don't they realise how gross it is?? DON'T THEY?

(even if you're not revealing gross chewed food)

(it's still slurpy and gross and noisy)

how do you feel about people with runny noses

who don't blow it for ages

THE MOST ANNOYING THING EVER.

I honestly can't stand it. Any kind of noise from people eating I find unpleasant. I realise that most of these are hard to control and I'm being stupid, but some people are just RIDICULOUSLY loud i.e. my Dad. And it's really not hard to keep your mouth closed and act like a civilized human being.

People who make that bizarre groaning sound while eating are the worst.

i am too

and im especially bad with crisps.

I've also developed a habit of slurping tea.
