episode last night where they take the piss out of family guy. I love family guy but it was pretty funny.

The more I watch it, the more I like it.
I used to hate American Dad. The more I watch it, the better it becomes. It's still 6/10 at its best, but watchable.

I cannot for the life of me understand why people find south park intelligent. Its the dumbest show out of all those really twisted american shows

South Park is consistently head and shoulders above Family Guy. The plot lines highlight the stupidity of america and the west in general with alarming regularity. It also has absolutely perfect comic timing, something which family guy certainly doesn't have. But most importantly it has stan's dad, the greatest character ever. Family guy is great for cheap laughs as is south park but the storylines are awful and are lost in 'remember when' jokes.
South Park used to rely on toilet humour a lot
but it's grown and developed to such a massice degree that it's one of the few shows where it has bettered with age. It's really quite subtle in places now and does a great job in highlighting problems with the world as a whole but disguises it in a really upfront crude way but the joke is more often or not quite a lot deeper. It's got the balance of stupid and intelligant done well I think, series 12 was the best yet.

it's my faviroute animated series, the first series was pretty average by Series 2 and 3 are brrrrrrrrilliant!
