I think I actually remember that session. I was initially somehow nervous/embarrassed for them because I didn't think it'd be right for the show and people wouldn't 'get them', but it was amazing – really acid-y and loads of energy.
I saw them a couple of times MC'ing at jungle nights – awesome. Me and my friends would always feel really honoured by their presence, but I wonder what they were up to at the time work-wise (96-97)? Probably not a lot now I think about it!
The liner notes will be great, can't wait for it to turn up.
Me too.
Its hard to believe that records so conceptually perfect and sublimely ridiculous were even made.
I still dream of ragga techno.
I remember taping Peel one night when I was a kid,
Ragga Twins were in session, it was fucking incredible. I'd never heard anything like it at the time.

I used to love Reggae Owes Me Money.
It'll be so weird hearing those tracks again.
The original Hooligan69 is on Hype Machine...
..if anyone's interested.
I love this album
I'd not even heard of them until I read the Pitchfork review but so glad I invested
I should invest in this
they are pretty insane...
