Apart from those I'm assuming I've met joeymahone... I have always thought he booked The Fakrays for a Lost Sunday gig at the Windmill (ages ago - when we existed). I may be entirely wrong, of course.

I spied some DiSers at Tin Pan Ally last year but I didn't talk to any.

was the first DiSer I met, other than the DiSer I was already friends with long before DiS even existed.

So, yeah...I spotted him walking through the campsite at Truck, walked up with some apprehension and said 'Errr.....are you 'Shucks'?'

Well, as sure as night follows day he was, so we had a bit of a chat.

About 15 minutes later I met creakyknees, a short while later I saw Jamie Summers.

By this stage I was heady with excitement so I went and got some lukewarm cider.

smileadelic went to my school, so i vaguely knew of him though we weren't friends as such.

i think that was before the dis xmas party in 2006 which was the first time i really met a lot of people. i got drunk quick and air guitared to my sharona.

one of the first dis meatups is blatantly the manics gig at brixton academy in 2001 or something where about 10 of us were there but didnt know each other and actually didnt meat. or maybe we did. who knows.

Hadn't really met anyone before that although on a couple of occasions DiSers seem to have seen me. :S

first proper meat was Toomanykooks, followed swiftly by Livingthedream... followed up by Dan_THW and then Caviarandcigarettes, we got bladderd and toomanykooks gave away his scarf to a girl he fancied (bareing in mind this was winter) Livingthedream & I as well as a friend who reads DiS but don't think posted or ages then proceeded to a gay bar where I put 'I Believe I Can Fly' on several times before stumbeling home drunk.

Kate works in The Music Industry and has apparently talked with her colleague Paul, ex-Ikara Colt lead vocalist, about the time i was thrust onstage, belted out the chorus to Sink Venice, hugged him and got thrown off. This was the first time i ever met a DiSer.
