I've listened to my 20,000th track with last.fm today

It was Biffy Clyro - Justboy

I'm pleased with that. How many have you done?

that's quite good

i should be on that but i've got about 49,000 due to turning last.fm off a lot.

I suspect my number of total plays

is going to shoot up now I've got an iPod for offline scrobbling.

Christ, I'm such a nerd.

61,911 I joined in march 2004... however i've cained it since ive had a desk job!

'Mon the desk job!...*ahem*... not.

45,967

my 45,967th play was "that side" by the motifs.

i've had my last fm / audioscrobbler account since the site launched in may 2003 but i only started using it in may last year. buh?

this doesn't include

the stuff i've listened to today on my ipod though..

If you use Winamp

With the ipod plugin, it submits everything you play inbetween not being at your computer ie on the tube/bus/jogging/eating your tea with your headphones on. I think they've tried doing that with the last.fm client but ive found it doesn't always work.

i just set it up with itunes

works like a charm.

yes

it does work using the last.fm client.

even handles multiple plays.

My top 50 is full of NME shit that I don't listen to anymore, I was thinking of resetting it but it just seems wrong somehow.

Pretty much 50 tracks a day.

Yeah I had that for a while

But it doesn't what the date was when it last updated and it gets on my nerves.

You've done right Jook

My total chart is completely different to my last 12m, 6m, 3m.

But I could never reset.

Yeah

It's nice to see how my tastes have changed I suppose. Would be a shame to erase three and a half years worth of scrobbling

i've just reset mine.

LAME but i fancied a change :) &there was too much pavement on there. there was about 15,000 tracks though. since sept last year.

MUSIC IS A COMPETITION

19.545, Raz.

This wraps things up nicely internet-wise as i prepare to spend many unsolicited nocturnal hours indulging in Metal Gear Solid.

46,440

41,606

Since November 07, that's a ridiculous amount of music!

Be interested to see how many of you

own these tracks on cd?

Not being a cunt, just curious, I know mine would be about 60/40 split in favour of CD.

Well if you count my dad's CDs as mine

It's probably a 60/40 split at least, maybe even 70/30. All this will change when I go to uni and can't afford CDs any more. Boooo.

Uni was the best time for CDs for me

Got most of them free tbf.

90/10

on CD.
