I was thinking Modern Art Museum. Done the Ashmolean and the Uni parks plenty of times. Thanks for the other suggestions(?).

if you find some chalk, you could probably on the floor somewhere on cornmarket street and help colour in someones picture of a hill, or the sky, or the shop opposite.

my favourite thing to do in oxford is to go to christchurch about an hour before sunrise, then walk down the meadow/paths on a big U turn course so you end up walking back towards town through this huge tree-lined archway just as dawn's breaking. that's free.
