is everybody on here a social outcast?

because i am.
i like about twenty people in my school and the rest are posing knobheads (boys)
plastic bitches (girls)

  • liking twenty people does not make you a social outcast

  • I only had about twenty mates, but I was fine with that.

Its hardly being a 'social outcast'.

And also, you should start posing more. When I was 15 I was one of the first kids in town to wear tight jeans and have hair like Franz Ferdinand and I got more girls then than I've ever had since.

Take my advice son. You're only young once. Eee, back when I were a lad. Eh?

    • ..

no i mean like ' roll your sleeves up and go on about the size of your penis' posing

      • ^ You should do more of this too!

Everyone's a cunt in school, just go with it and wait for everyone to grow up.
Either this or spend most of your adolescence hating everyone.

  • No

I think I do quite well in social situations *grabs lizzys arse*

  • i have quite a few friends

but they are actually people i like. loads of people i know are friends with about 100 people that they see every time we go out and i just stand there not talking to them. because they are all dickheads. i just know.

    • i like my friends

but everyone else tries so hard to be 'normal' and its shite

  • I'm a social hermit

People tolerate me but I make little efforts to keep them in my life. The ones that like me seem to stick around. They're nice.

  • i have about 20 good friends.

why would you really need anymore than that?

i only like about 7 girls in my school because they are all absolute rich bitches taking coke or wierd girls who look like woodland creatures. Why dont you look to make good friends other places?
thats what i did and im very happy

    • i meant

i only like about 7 girls in my school...
ALL THE REST 'are all absolute rich bitches taking coke or wierd girls who look like woodland creatures'

    • rich bitches are attractive

dunno why, i hate everything they stand for, and they are dickheads most likely, but.. i probably would most of the time

      • these rich bitches arnt attractive

although im not a real judge

fake tan and jack willsdo it for you?

        • not on their own

but yknow if they are pretty too theres just something about them

          • like you could go to the stables or something with them

and theyd be all posh. i dont even know

      • ^ totally

it's kinda coz they have more money to spend on looking good. My uni is notorious for them. I can't tolerate them but damn some of them are hot.

  • unless all those 20 people hate you in return

    you're not a social outcast.

    • ok maybe less than 20

don't get me wrong i don't mind being a social outcast i just think the majority of people are twats

      • well they;re not outcasting you you're outcasting yourself

it's this fact that keeps me sane

  • I dont think

I have ever liked 20 people at any one given time. I think youre doing fine.

    • I only like/approve of about 10 people

And even then I have underlying doubts: Their music tastes are usually questionable.

      • haha this

although it's more than just music tastes; I'm a lot less tolerant of people than I was two years ago

  • in germany i am really intorverted,

i avoid social contact except for if i like the person, A LOT.
in leeds i know far too many people and can never say no when it comes to social events. in short... if the music is good i'm out a of a lot more sociable.

  • naw, I do alright

  • If it's you not liking them

That does make you an outcast. You're the person doing the outcasting.

I don't think I'm a social outcast per se, I just had to move back in with my mother in Surrey so I don't know anyone around here. When I get back to London in a few months DiS won't see me for dust.

    • maybe outcast is the wrong word

but i feel that everyone tries so hard to fit in. i'm slagging off everyone else not myself :D

      • You're a misanthrope

But I kind of understand because people of school age do tend to be as shallow as you say they all are.

  • Yes. Pretty much.

Give me a cup of tea and a game of chess over pretty much any typical evening activity for a teenager. I'm not boring, just...you know.

  • You sound like me aged 15

Life gets better - basically you get to leave school eventually.

  • I wish I'd had twenty friends...

    at school.

    hahaha

    • that was pretty much

      my thoughts.

I had one friend who quit three months before we did GCSE's (I found I that she later slit her wrists), and one who was even more mental and weird and unpopular than me who I argued with constantly.

  • Yup

  • i suppose i am...

i don't really know anyone outside my family & their friends. but then again, i haven't been to school in a year.

i'm really awkward, neurobehavioral disorders ftw. if i meet new people i'm immediately 'put off' by ignorance, i'm willing to talk but most of the people i've met won't continue conversation if we don't have shared interests. needles to say i haven't really met anyone i've shared interests in music, tv, films, etcetera.

i find it really hard to introduce myself, i'd like to say that once i've introduced myself that i'm okay, but that's not the case ;'(

  • I'm not a social outcast.

If you'd ever met me, you'd be very shocked by that.

    • i'm a social outcast

that has inexplicably managed to make and keep a fairly large group of good friends.

  • 20 people and you're a social outcast?!

    POW POW POW

    MEMBA AH TOLD YOU

  • i'm not an outcast as such

i just don't like my friends very much right now. so i'm sort of turning into a bit of a hermit, voluntarily.

  • better to have a smaller number of friends

who you actually care about and are interested by than a big group of friends who don't really mean that much to you.
