http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=170227911213

£50! :-(

  • MASSIVE NERDO

  • Was only shipping in America though

    Still, £50...

  • james blackshaw

once agreed to sell me the guitar he wrote 'celeste' on for £100 and then changed his mind because somebody else offered to pick it up from his house rather than meet him after work.

  • i missed the white 10" (ltd to 500) of My Second Favourite Record Ever

going on ebay for £15 cos i fucking forgot to log in and bidded a minute too late. last week or something :(

    • if you're talking about vaya

      i feel your pain :(

  • there was once an auction of one of jeff mangums guitars

for an aids charity, it looked amazing it was covered with old fashioned black and white illustrations and photographs of thingd that gave an antiquated sense of the future, it went for about £500

  • I keep missing

these amazing live At The Drive-In Japanese bootleg 12"s when they crop up (rarely). Without fail. :(

  • I have trouble with the bidding process

I have only gotten "buy it now" items off e-bay. I saw a vintage fender mustang case (cardboard) go for $450 (a very stupid price) in a bidding scenario. It's was just what I was looking for but so were about ten other guys- ugh. I just stole a 1968 Sunn 200 S off Craig"s List and waiting for it's arrival now. Craig's is more casual and lets you negotiate directly with the seller- drawback is that Craig's is less secure and more primitive search engine (if you can call it that) and Craig's tends to be more "regional" where E-bay is more "global". I got a cool Mustang (with a hmbkr) off ebay "buy it now" from a Japanese vendor called "Katana Guitars". Smooth transaction and the Mustang cleared customs in Tokyo whithin hours of purchase. Great tracking info and had it in 3 days- Tokyo - Montana - amazing. Check out Katana- lot's of ESP stuff and a few hard to find gems at very reasonable prices.

PS- what kind of Guitar was the "slint guitar"?

    • where is your sunn amp

      coming from?

those things must way a ton.

      • Vancouver, B.C.

        151 lbs.

It used to belong to a well known Vancouver R & B bassist- now it's mine - almost.

  • Yes.

I missed one of the union jack hessian sleeved copies of The Red The White The Black The Blue by Hope of the States. There're only 5. It went for 17 quid. Stupid, stupid, fucking stupid.
