I'm desperately looking for some for a friend too. Ebay has them at a very high price!
I was wondering if anyone has recieved their tickets yet that bought them?
I found someone on ebay willing to sell at almost face value but says he already has the tickets to post. last I heard they hadnt been sent out yet which makes me slightly dubious.
I ordered mine about 3 months ago....
and have yet to receive it.

This is what I thought
I emailed the guy asking for a ref number etc and he sent me a picture of the ticket.
I explained no one i knew had recieved tickets yet and asked for the ref number again. Then he said I obvioulsy wasnt interested in the tickets as no one else asks these questions.
Or, "I think you are not interested to buy them....nobody ask me these..i show you the picture of the tickets..this is the only proof i can give you.."

You should check it morning, evening and lunch break as movement on there is fast. Tickets are appearing and being snapped up all the time.

This happened last year as well, people that bought theirs before me got them after I did. Shoddy system. You ordered yours aaages ago...and you've still not got it?

Tickets were available from outlets such as UEA box office and HMV. I got mine from my local theatre box office and have had it for a month, its got festival republic on it.

They're asking for the money to be send using 'Moneygram'. Transfering the money basically.
They have said they will send the tickets once the money has been recieved but have not sent a proof of tickets. Is this bad?

DO NOT SENT ANY MONEY THIS WAY WITHOUT HAVING RECEIVED THE TICKETS.
THESE MONEY TRANSFERS ARE NIGH ON IMPOSSIBLE TO TRACE AND THERE IS A REAL POSSIBILITY THAT YOU'LL GET RIPPED OFF.

I read on Gumtree that 'MoneyGram' Is popular with fraudsters. I think I've followed up yet another fraud. Annoying.
They all say, don't worry ebay will refund if the tickets are fake, and none of them will send me proof of tickets.
Pretty obvious they're not real.

my friend suffered from the exact same scam recently but it was for a house - she lost over a £1000 eek!

When you buy your ticket
off the latitude website, when does it usually arrive? It's pretty close to the start of the festival isn't it?

haven't had mine yet either and yet my Field Day ticket arrived months ago.

they just leave it quite late on. I got mine REALLY close to the festival last year..
last year
they arrived pretty late (ie in the week or two before the event)
and I think the same will happen this year.
2 Tickets
I'm not going to start a bidding war, but I have two tickets spare to Latitude.
Due to being an incompetent I double ordered and now need to offload two tickets. Was tempted to put em up on ebay but I can't be bothered being such a tosser.
First come first served I suppose.
I haven't actually got the tickets yet myself, but shouldn't matter as I'm actually going to it. Cost price is £140. Can post by Special delivery when I get them if necessary if you want to use paypal.

I was and it was just awesome where as 2007 sucked bum hole as there were tooooooooooooooooooooooooo many people!
You used to be able to sit down and you be able to go off and not worry that your phone was dea because you would be able to find your friends - now there are too many heads!!! Cut them off i say!

I went in 06
and yeah, it was a lot quieter. But I don't think that's a bad thing - last year there were more people and there was a better atmosphere because of it. I'm not sure that an increase AGAIN will do the festival any good though. The site isn't very big.
I went the first year,
and last.
It was more intimate the first year, and last year was a bit of a shock to be honest. I do hope they have the (minor) problems sorted and I'll try to spend as much time as I can away from the main stages, and try to take a more relxaed view of it all. Hopefully I won't get so grumpy this year.
