Anyone remember this song? Cracking stuff, nice haircuts too.

oh yes
the haircuts were as bad as the music.
I picked the 7"
of this up for about 20p a few months ago, when of the best and briefest flashes of brilliance in the mid 90's
Race was a storming tune too, shame they couldnt keep it up.
Shit live as well
Absolutely love this band.
They were the thinking man's Dweeb. That is a great tune and it didn't make the excellent debut album We Are Puppets (featuring smash singles My Puppet Pal, Race and On The Rose)...
A lot of their singles did sound much the same
but it was a great same song all the same. Shining In The Wood is one of the great 90s opening shots - it was a good little time for debut singles, 1996-98.
And then Friends, the first single off the next album, was just ridiculous, great and ridiculously great.
Indeed - as i recall
it was someone Mark E Smith-like mummbling the phrase 'marmite and cigars' over a killer keyboard riff.

'Race' was ace too.
I forgot about Race
That was good too.
"They were the thinking man's Dweeb" Cracked me up. Chart Raider Space Invader was a banger though
I have a Tiger album at home
that I've never listened to. should i?
As I said the other day, yes.
All of their songs have a bit where someone goes 'EH OH!', half Teletubbie/half Huggy Bear.
Actually the whole thing is like that. Just listen to Race. It's ace. In your face.
If you dont want it i'll have it
:)

i forget.
i am putting it on my ipod RIGHT NOW.

'rosaria' is worth seeking out if you havent got it, most folk dont know they made a second album.
